The Top 10 Industries to Start a Business in Now
by www.SixWise.com
These days, it seems everyone is an entrepreneur, or at least
wants to be one. In a 2006 survey by Yahoo Small Business
and Harris Interactive, 66 percent of respondents said they
wanted to start
their own business someday, and 37 percent hoped to do
so within the next five years.

But people aren't just wishing they had their own business,
they're going out and starting them, too. In 2005, close to
672,000 companies with employees were created, according to
the Small Business Administration (SBA). This represents the
largest surge in business start-ups ever in the United States.
Of course, starting a business isn't easy. Though more and
more entrepreneurs are taking the startup plunge, there's
a
great deal of risk involved. More businesses than ever
began in 2005, for instance, but another 544,800 small businesses
closed, not including over 39,000 that filed for bankruptcy.
The bottom line? If you're thinking of starting a business,
make sure and do your homework first. Following is a list
of top industries that are expected to grow in the coming
years ... and make up the perfect place for budding entrepreneurs
to plant their seeds.
