Hilarious New Art Form:
Scenes of Chaos and Joy by “Improv Everywhere”
by www.SixWise.com
Improve Everywhere “causes scenes of chaos and joy in public places.” Since their start in 2001, this “undercover” group of improv agents has successfully carried out over 80 missions.
Take a look at a few of them below … we think you’ll agree this group represents one of the most astonishing and refreshing new art forms you’ve ever seen!
Over 200 people freeze in place in Grand Central Station, New York, in the middle of an on-looking crowd.
See what happens when 1,200 New Yorkers ride the subway without pants … in the middle of a snowstorm.
A spontaneous musical breaks out in the middle of a Los Angeles mall food court.
Here 15 pairs of twins create a human mirror on a New York subway car.
Noticing the commercial value of Improv Everywhere’s antics, on Jan. 16, 2009 T-Mobile launched this new commercial. It was shot at Liverpool station in London using 400 dancers and 10 hidden cameras. No one but the station employees and dancers knew what was going on.
You can surely expect to see more of this type of “human art form” advertising in the future.
